The National Congress of the Indonesian Society of Internal Medicine Specialists (KOPAPDI) is an organizational and scientific event held every three years. KOPAPDI is a combination of organizational sessions, scientific events, the FINASIM convocation, sports, arts, and tourism. The organizational sessions aim to finalize decisions formulated during the Work Conference (KONKER) held one year prior. KOPAPDI is the largest organizational event of the Indonesian Society of Internal Medicine Specialists (PAPDI) and is attended by numerous participants, including internists, related specialists, and general practitioners.

The upcoming National Congress of the Indonesian Society of Internal Medicine Specialists will be held in Bali in 2025. The 19th KOPAPDI, scheduled from June 25–29, 2025, carries the theme: “Sustainable Healthcare in Internal Medicine, Addressing Climate Change for Better Patient Outcomes.” Climate change poses a significant threat to human health as its impacts unfold more rapidly than predicted, making adaptation increasingly challenging. It contributes to numerous health issues, such as mortality and morbidity from extreme weather events, the rise of vector-borne diseases, contamination of food and water, and mental health disorders. Without preventive measures, annual deaths related to these issues, currently at 700,000, are expected to rise in the future.

We hope that all events of the 19th KOPAPDI, held in conjunction with the 3rd Congress of the ASEAN Federation of Internal Medicine, will proceed smoothly and successfully. These include organizational sessions, scientific programs, the FINASIM convocation, sports, and arts. We will also present highly up-to-date, practical scientific materials covering all aspects of internal medicine-related issues. The event's location in Bali, renowned for its breathtaking scenery, exceptional cuisine, and rich culture, promises to captivate both local and international visitors.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we warmly invite everyone to actively participate and contribute to both the scientific and organizational aspects of the 19th KOPAPDI Bali in 2025.

Greetings to all. Let us express our gratitude to Allah SWT, as it is by His blessings and grace that we are granted health until this moment.

The National Congress of the Indonesian Society of Internal Medicine Specialists (KOPAPDI) is an organizational event held by PAPDI every three years. The main agenda of KOPAPDI includes organizational sessions attended by delegates from all 39 PAPDI branches. These sessions aim to finalize the outcomes of the previous KONKER and address issues related to medicine and healthcare. Additionally, the congress will include the election of the Chairperson of the National Board of the Indonesian Society of Internal Medicine Specialists (PB PAPDI) and the Chairperson of the College of Internal Medicine (KIPD) for the upcoming term, as well as determine the venue for the next KOPAPDI and KONKER.

The 19th KOPAPDI, in conjunction with the 3rd Congress of the ASEAN Federation of Internal Medicine, will take place from June 25–29, 2025, in Bali under the theme “Sustainable Healthcare in Internal Medicine: Addressing Climate Change for Better Patient Outcomes.” Alongside the organizational sessions, the event will feature highly anticipated activities such as scientific programs, FINASIM convocation, exhibitions, sports, cultural performances, and tourism.

Bali, known for its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, is one of the most popular tourist destinations for both international and domestic visitors.
